Following the THK Davos dialogue at Indonesian Pavilion during WEF 2019, the THK Jakarta Dialogue “Mobilising Capital for SDGs Indonesia for Better Business Better World” was held on 11 March 2019 at Shangri-la Jakarta in continuing its efforts in championing the Better Business, Better World philosophy in driving national delivery of the SDGs for Indonesia. The meeting was held in conjunction with a number of key meetings being hosted in Jakarta around the same time, including the launch of the World Economic Forum’s first national partnership with Indonesia under its Global Plastic Action Partnership, as well as the International Chamber of Commerce Global CEO meetings with ICC Chairman and THK Steering Committee Paul Polman and WEF Managing Director Dominic Waughray.  The THK “Jakarta Dialogue” was graced by H.E. Coordinating Minister Luhut Panjaitan and leaders from the public and private sector were galvanised around key sustainability issues for Indonesia with focus of discussion on plastic, technology and innovation, sustainable food and land use, oceans and sustainable fisheries and last but not least blended finance for the SDGs.  The “Jakarta Dialogue” objective was anticipated with high-level commitments that turned into tangible action and real outcomes.
