On May 15th, 2025, at the UID Jakarta, Tri Hita Karana Forum together with Purpose and MOSAIC hosted the Tri Hita Karana Forum Dialogue themed “Unlock the Billion: Tapping Hidden Flows for Climate Resilience,” convening over 70 participants from government, financial institutions, civil society, and the private sector. The event explored alternative and inclusive climate financing strategies in light of Indonesia’s USD 146 billion climate finance gap. Distinguished speakers including Longgena Ginting (Purpose), Burkhard Hinz (KfW), Felia Salim (GEAPP), Paul Butarbutar (JETP), and Delano Dalo (PT SMI) emphasized the urgency of de-risking investments, strengthening project preparation, and leveraging grassroots solutions —particularly through syariah-compliant financing. Four roundtable discussions deepened the dialogue on energy security, reskilling the green workforce, and inclusive finance pathways, with facilitation from thought leaders such as Setyo Budiantoro, Hadi Prayitno, Dr. Mustafa Sarinanto, and Abdul Gaffar Karim. The Dialogue reinforced the importance of multi-stakeholder collaboration in unlocking climate capital beyond conventional channels.
