Meeting the 2030 agenda for a low carbon economy with high-quality, inclusive growth requires a new narrative for government leaders instead of a blind pursuit of GDP, and a new paradigm for business and finance opportunities. A workshop on THK Davos Dialogue on Blended Finance and Innovation Institute  for Better Business Better World, hosted by Government of the Republic of Indonesia and co-host of the “Tri Hita Karana” Forum on Sustainable Development, United in Diversity Foundation and Business and Sustainable Development Commission’s Blended Finance Taskforce,  was held on 24 January 2019 at Indonesian Pavilion Davos Platz during the WEF to accelerate these shifts.

The THK “Davos Dialogue” has explored a number of key questions on BFI Institute and focused on establishing a global Blended Finance and Innovation Institute (BFI Institute) in Bali which will help build capacity, support policy research, engage the private sector and incubate action labs to mobilise capital for the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs).  The workshop also contributed to the shaping the G20 Dialogue, and accelerating the effectiveness and impact of the new BFI Institute for institutions across the world.
