A high level leadership dialogue “Leveraging Blended Finance for the Sustainable Development Goals”  hosted by the Government of Indonesia, the Tri Hita Karana Forum and the UN Development Programme  was held  during the 74thSession of the United Nations General Assembly and the New York Climate week on 27th September 2019 at  United Nations Headquarters

The event, supported by the global Blended Finance Taskforce, will highlight how the potential blended finance is being harnessed to crowd-in private capital to accelerate global climate action under the Paris Agreement and toward achieving the SDGs. The event is joined by special guests who discussed major opportunities for collaboration across the public and private sector to mobilise investments for sustainable inclusive development and for scaling up solutions to protect precious ecosystems like forests and oceans. Representatives from Indonesia and other countries as well as the private sector presented their experiences in developing blended finance instruments and creating a strong enabling environment to attract private capital.
